The conference and events sector is at a crossroads. If we want to color the future pink, there needs to be a shift from "more" to "better." A new and resilient business model is required to remain relevant.

Social impact plays a key role in this process. What positive long-term effect can your conference or event bring about for the place that welcomes your organization and for the residents of that place?

To answer this key question, VISITFLANDERS Convention Bureau co-developed a new methodology. This stakeholder focused approach allows organizers to identify and realize their positive impact. In this way, conferences and events become milestones not only for the sector but also for society.
